Therapy for Children & Young People
Available to clients in Sheffield and the surrounding areas.
Therapy Plans
Each client receives a unique plan tailored to their goals, meaningful occupations, and sensory preferences, so no two plans are the same! Activities include crafts, obstacle courses, music, sensory circuits, and nature-informed therapies. Although it often looks like ‘just play’, activities are carefully chosen to match needs. Therapy plans include clear, time-bound goals that are mutually agreed upon beforehand. We ask that you complete a short questionnaire for progress tracking purposes.
Occupational Therapists (OT's) commonly work with children on:
• Gross and fine motor development (including speech and handwriting)
• Engaging in essential occupations (school, home, and social events)
• Sensory-informed therapies and environmental adaptations
• Undesirable behaviours (causing harm to self, others, or property)
• Activities of daily living (eating, sleeping, toileting, washing, and dressing)
• Trauma and associated behaviours, including withdrawal and/or aggression
“I can’t thank Hannah enough for the support she has given us as a family and our son in starting to understand and navigate his needs. Hannah is calm, approachable, and always willing to give of her time and knowledge.
She has built up an amazing rapport with our son, and he looks forward to his therapy sessions. We, too, feel supported and validated in our thoughts and feelings, and are glad to have Hannah supporting us!”
- Vicky, Mother of a 5-year-old boy
